I think if there is one thing I wasn't a fan of in this film is that there weren't enough scenes where they pretended to be dolls.
Granted the plot of the film didn't leave much room for that because they spent most of the time in Jennifer Tilly's house and she obviously would have noticed props from a movie she was working on now suddenly in her home. However, they could have played on this with other victims. I know there was that one scene where Chucky played doll before John Waters got acid dumped on his face but it was under played a little.
Also it would have been nice to see Glen play doll. Like when Jennifer Tilly's walked into the Special FX studio he could have just froze along with his parents and she probably wouldn't have been none the wiser.
This almost led me to believe this is something Glen is incapable of doing. Despite being born into plastic and not looking like a conventional doll he could pass as one to someone unsuspecting of dolls being alive.

Yeah that was an extremely disappoiting factor of the movie. The whole "oh it's just a doll" part is what helps make it a scary movie for me.

I do agree with this, I feel that the lack of doll scenes is a major factor to the point that Seed was more comedic than anything else.
I mean Spanky's right when referring the lifeless dolls coming to life as one of the more creepier points of the movies. I honestly don't think Don was going for anything creepy with this movie though lol

What's weird is that I am more likely to let my kids watch the first 3 films even though they are "scarier"
It's too soon to be introducing them to the sexual themes that are present in Bride, Seed, and Curse. I want to keep my little girls "little" for as long as possible.
They get their fill of sexual themes from watching the Disney channel. No sense in adding more wood to the fire. Lol.

My sister is five and a big bitch sometimes because of that station. From the stories I've heard, she's acted pretty promiscuous in her kindergarten class too. It's pretty sad actually, my future children (if they ever exist) are gonna be closely monitored for the first five years of their life so they can at least seem innocent lol

Yeah, you know society is screwed when watching a classic horror movie is less detrimental to them than watching what's on TV now. My like 10 year old niece was watching that show "Baby Daddy" on ABC Family.... what the hell ever happened to "7th Heaven"?

"Baby Daddy"?...yikes.
7th Heaven was a weekly ritual in my house. We started watching it because my religious aunt would heckle my mom for not bringing us to church my mom would put 7th Heaven on and call it our "hour of power"
The only pretty bad thing I did in regards to my sister was attempt to teach her Nikki Minaj's solo in Big Sean's "A$$"

Ugh, that's always unsettling.
I remember my sister asked for a pregnant Barbie for Christmas one year...like...why? Lol. I just remember Barbie being normal when I was her age

Nothing worse then when your 9 year old tells you she wants to be a Teen Mom. Another reason why I hate that show is because it glorifies that type of life. Also the parents on those shows are too weak. I know if my daughter got knocked up... "No... you aren't going to no pep ralley. Instead you're going to stay home and be a mother to your child"
Of course this doesn't happen on that show. I feel like slapping all the ppl on that program most of the time.
Funny... I'd let my kids watch "Child's Play" and "7th Heaven"... both star Catherine Hicks. Coincidence... I think not. Lol.

Well shows back then did kind of have morals and meanings to be observed. Even some of the silly onces like "Boy Meets World" or "Saved by the Bell". Now it's literally "LOL OMG we are so cute, selfie!"

Man, if I went to my parents to tell them I was pregnant before I was in my twenties, I don't even want to know what my father would do. He already told me I shouldn't be having kids if I ever wanted to enjoy my life lol
They are trying to bring back "Boy Meets World" but with Corey's daughter...it looks terrible.
"Are You Afraid of the Dark?"...now that, was a good show.
