Pretty much what Metal Matt said. You can't just say "oh humans follow a certain set of rules when it comes to being realistic", lol. It's a movie about a supernaturally possessed doll, anything can happen.

Well in that case, duh, Don can technically put anything in the next movie. But it would be farfetched, not only from a logical standpoint but from a CHARACTER standpoint. This is her weakness. This is how she is on equal ground with Chucky. Robbing her of that would make her just another final girl. The wheelchair complexifies and layers her character, and we feel more compelled to root for her. She can't run away. She uses her words and resourcefulness to fight.

Wow, being condescending again. That's just precious.

Pretty much, and yes it does add to her character, but I mean this is all an idea that one person had, it's likely not gonna happen, lol. I mean she doesn't have to get up and start running marathons, she could be using them special walking sticks and still be at a disadvantage to Chucky from a mobility standpoint.

Man, I am kind of loving the idea of Nica being able to walk now. Imagine in CP7 she fakes being in a wheelchair, and Chucky comes towards her with a knife, and she stands up and punts him across the room as he goes "Oh shit!".

Anybody who takes a horror film this seriously is the one people should laugh at lol. Why can't we just enjoy the movie and question some possibilities? Who really cares what is realistic or what isn't it's just a suggestion

It's ok Matt. Hush my baby. *pat pat* That's not necessary at all, please don't allow that to happen again, or there will be consequences. If you want to be condescending overall, go for it, because it will work itself out over time, but the minute you direct it toward an individual is when it is unacceptable.

So you're being condescending towards horror films Gee? Uh, I write all my college essays/wrote all my high school essays on horror films practically. I take them seriously because I love them. Why can't they be taken seriously? The original Child's Play is a classic because people DID take a far fetched killer doll idea seriously and made it effective. People who take silly ideas seriously make for some damn good creative geniuses!
I can say the same thing for the person who made this website. "You take it so seriously you create a website for it?" Or I could say the same thing for an administrator here. "You take it so seriously you become an administrator for the website?"
Saying what you said doesn't really solve anything or add an additional viewpoint.

Gee isn't being condescending, she's simply pointing out that some horror movies can have some silly points sometimes, and it's fun to discuss these points.

You missed my point. Yes, I AM here and want and love to be because I love Chucky. I'm simply pointing out the hypocrisy.

There's nothing hypocritical about her post. We all take Chucky seriously to some degree, but it shouldn't be to the point where we shoot everyone else's opinions down on a possibility that probably won't even come up in the actual movies just because it's "not realistic". You can have your own opinion by all means and think the idea of Nica walking again is ridiculous but that doesn't mean you should get so pretentious when others don't agree and try to act like their opinion is invalid.

... we keep explaining ourselves to you over and over but you just hear what you want to. You get hellbent on being some knowledgeable guru of the film and writing industry and get brash with your opinions and when other peoples' opinions don't seem "up to par" with that of your own, because by some strange effect of the cosmos, we are all just that much inferior, lol. You've been condescending since day one, and all of us are telling you, not asking, to take a chill pill before actions need to be taken.
