Metal Matt Fan Fic: The Journey

ACT II, PART II:

METAL MATT: Caputo? But we all thought you were-

EDDIE: Dead? Yeah, that's what everyone said. And to tell you the truth, that's how I felt inside. I was burnt. Burnt badly. But somehow, I survived. It took a team of 15 doctors to reconstruct my face. If you ask me, I think they did one hell of a job. But none of this would have happened if you and Chucky hadn't gotten yourselves killed. I'll admit, I was shocked to see you back. But now that doesn't matter. Not anymore.

METAL MATT: Shut the hell up, Eddie. You are one pathetic guy, you know that? You know why you got burnt? Because you were weak. You couldn't cut the mustard. Not on your own. You needed to ride someone's coattails. Then you found me, Chucky and Tiffany. And you know what you did on that fateful night Chucky got killed? You ran with your tail between your legs. You didn't want to save your so called friend. If you were truly our friend, you would have saved him.

EDDIE: I did what I thought was right. And so what if Chucky got killed because of me? He was knocking on death's door as it was. I wasn't going to be caught by the cops. I do what I do for me. Nobody tells me what to do.

METAL MATT: What a coincidence. So do I. Nobody tells Metal Matt what to do, or how to do it. And I do it, when you least suspect it.

METAL MATT suddenly throws an axe at EDDIE. It connects, and chops off his right arm.

EDDIE: MY ARM!!!

METAL MATT: That's not the only thing you're going to be losing.

EDDIE: You're dead!

METAL MATT: Oh, Eddie. You were always so naive and idiotic. But now, it's time to put an end to your miserable existence.

METAL MATT and EDDIE fight for awhile. EDDIE grabs a knife and slices half of METAL MATT's face off, with METAL MATT's face now being half normal, half skeleton.

METAL MATT: Oh, you shouldn't have done that. Oh, what's the matter, Eddie? You look like you've seen a ghost!

METAL MATT swings an axe, but misses. Eddie stabs him several times.

EDDIE: Why won't you die?

TIFFANY: He's immortal. He can't. But you will.

TIFFANY stabs EDDIE in the back with a machete. METAL MATT chops off his legs with an axe. METAL MATT, with his bare hands, tears off EDDIE's face, leaving his face reduced to muscles and tendons.

METAL MATT: Payback time.

METAL MATT swings the axe into EDDIE, decapitating him, and finally killing him. METAL MATT's scars and injuries supernaturally heal.

TIFFANY: Well, we caused some damage here.

METAL MATT: It was something that should have been done a long time ago.

TIFFANY: As far as Chucky goes, the search isn't over just yet. Ready to go on another adventure?

METAL MATT: I'll go on any adventure with you, Tiffany. It's time to find our friend.

The End.
