Actually... I was trying to make a satirical post on Chucky's look because he is the only slasher that had a major change in his look and not only is there a split in the fans but a split on the types of fans. So I made the "metrosexual" comment just to show how ridiculous the argument got over the years between stitched and unstitched. I prefer unstiched but then again... I am a Prime. I was there since the beginning and I wouldn't want it any other way. Although waiting for sequels in real time sucked. Lol. It's all about context brother. Whooooo. You have made 100% sense. The arguments between who prefers stitched and unstitched is ridiculous and pointless. It truly is all about context.

True... I mean don't get me wrong. In Bride... the stitched look made perfect sense because of how he died in CP3. They used up all their lifelines via Play Pals and anything else might have appeared too absurd.
I even wrote a story for a 5th grade essay on "Child's Play 4" in which Chucky's upper body managed to escape the fan and he crawled around and found a Good Guy doll that was being sold as a prize to transfer his soul into. Now as kid... this made sense. As an adult... WTF? Even if that were true it'd be a Good Guy that was a cheap knock off and had low quality. Chucky would be constantly reattaching limbs because of how cheaply made he would be. Lol.
Point is... I liked it as a one off gimmick. Now we're in that area where him remaining stitched wouldn't make sense and Don woukd have to stretch the story to keep it that way.
Beauty lies in simplicity.

Agreed, it had it's appeal to me, but it was kind of like lightning in a bottle, a one and done sort of thing. Just like the cover-up in Curse, if they did that again, I'd be disappointed.

Somewhere out there is another stitched fan and when the world is ready they'll join you in the sun. My little Kal-El.
