So many creppy and disturbing moments.Scenes with chucky sitting still being innocent just gives you a bad feeling and makes you wonder what's going to happen. Also seeing Chucky's body torn apart and all the blood on the floor in the factory is quite sickening and disturbing

I definitely agree. This one definitely scared me the most.

This film is scary but I don't think it's real scary because they lightened up the tone a bit. I think the scariest is either CP1 or CP3 but it's just my opinion.

I will say that Curse was scary. Take away the fact that we were fans looking for continuity and picking it apart... I can't deny that Don was successful in making Chucky a full on horror again.
I still find CP1 to be the scariest. The whole atmosphere of that film is very unnerving. Everything was dark and the one colorful thing was the threat itself... Chucky.

I just found it hard to believe Andy was able to walk through the valley of hobos without getting some type of trouble, but maybe Chucky somewhat protected him during that scene.

Well Chucky would have had no reason to protect him because he didn't know the rules on getting out of his new body yet.
However... he just can't walk around on his own in plain sight so he did at least need Andy to get him from place to place so I mean it os possible he protected him.
BTW... that looked like such a shit area. I used to see areas like that when I was a kid in NY. I am glad to not be living in or near those environments.

Yeah, I mean Andy was his mode of transport, but it's still hard to believe no bindlestiff tried to abduct him.

Well not to sound stereotypical but it looked like a predominantly black neighborhood run by street gangs. Yeah there are many criminals but not ones interested in little kids.
That's more of a middle aged white guy thing. Lol.

Even Andy's Counselor feels creepy. Also during the first scene where Mr.Sullivan walks through the building and they have portraits of good guy dolls is just creepy and uncomfortable.

Well honestly Andy's counselor looks like a damn pedophile, lol. But I agree, that scene with Sullivan felt very dark and morbid.

Again there are references to toys etc, that kids love. And the fact that a 40 year old grown man in a doll body is quite disturbing.Things like this make this film and series scary and really memorable.

Take Chucky out of all the kill scenes, and instead put a 40 year old man, the Charles Lee Ray we saw in the first film, in his place. It seems so much more sadistic now, doesn't it?
Could you imagine Kettlewell's death with Charles Lee Ray in human form? Stabbing and beating some woman for no reason at ALL? He had no compelling reason to kill her.
