My only concern with bringing too many people back is it can seem crowded and rushed, especially if this movie is only 90-100 minutes. That's why I am more of a fan of giving a "nod" to certain characters, rather than just bring them back for an entire role in the movie.

Yeah I think Andy's cameo worked last time and whilst he seems to be in the movie more it's still very much focused on Nica.
Again I assume Tiffany is only a scene or two so it's a nice nod with out shoe horning the character in.
Whilst it would be good to see Kyle it's important they have importance to the plot rather than just being there.

I can agree to that. I wouldn't mind seeing like a newspaper clippings or article on fake movie Google where we see a snip it on a former character.
Something like a charter died in a horrific and mysterious way. Not some too big but maybe like Detective Jack Santos, Tyler, or DeSilva.

Well like I think even you had an idea a while back where you kill one of those people off in the opening sequence. That'd be a little different in regards to openings, because all of the previous movies still have that "tease" of Chucky coming to life.
But like open up with an adult Tyler, now having a career in the military, get back to his base and he's greeted by the person at the front desk and they say a package was delivered for him. He has that moment of fear, thinking about Chucky, and carefully goes into his office, seeing a brown package the size of a Good Guy Doll box. He grabs his knife and slowly opens the package, only to find that it's a birthday cake from his wife and kid back home. Then you hear a voice:
"I finally found you, you little shit."
Tyler turns around and Chucky is standing on the desk behind him, and without hesitation, Chucky cuts Tyler's throat, killing him. Cut to Chucky doing his laugh as Tyler bleeds out, and the musical score increasing in volume. Cuts to black, then showing the movie title.

I remember I wrote a little tidbit of Tyler getting killed except in my story Tyler was now male stripper and gay.
I remember ppl getting worked up over that too. Lol.
I was trying to ad a sense of irony with him being a military brat and all.
Even of not a scene, a background mention wouldn't be bad.
Who is to say that before Curse, he didn't have a few side missions before getting to Nica's house. Of course no blood = us to assume he was just resurrected.
BTW, I wonder if we'll see him bleed again. I hope so, because that was one of Chucky's best traits that set him apart from other killer dolls.

I actually really liked that little excerpt!
I do miss Tyler. Would love to see him at least referenced this movie.
