It kinda sucks that we will never see chucky with a clean face again.thats why I was so excited for curse because he had a clean face until the big reveal

It can still hapoen, and it should. Unfortunately though it is unlikely because it would create a huge displacement of the "new school fans", as well as create confusion for those dumb people who are so adamant about "Chucky has to be stitched, there's no way he can't be", that somehow forget him coming back clean in CP2 and CP3.
It just isn't gonna be scary to me if he's stitched, plain and simple, which a lot of people agree. I am unable to suspend any belief that he isn't just some innocent toy doll when he doesn't look like an innocent toy doll.
Now in defense of the stitches, unstitched really only matters if they are trying to involve kids, or build up suspense by having him hide in plain sight. If they are gonna have him revealed ajd killing right from the get-go, then I guess it's okay. But if they're gonna pull any of those scenes where he's in doll mode just sitting on a chair or something, nope, sorry, not good.

It's hard to be afraid of him in stitches because the whole time he had them he was trying to be funny and less scary.being with Tiffany and glen takes the fear away but still in the original trilogy he's still scary and horrifying there.i will admit when I first saw bride when I was younger,I was scared by his look, overtime it changed

Agreed, comedy and stitches are just associated together for me, so it has that lingering stigma.

Well he was pretty creepy when he was just a Good Guy Doll, because he was hiding in plain sight, looking innocent. But when stitches came out, it pretty much immediately became not creepy or scary.

Spanky,You really need to let it go. I am sick of all this fuss over the clean and stitched looks. Can't we just be happy that he was clean for the first hour of Curse? Sure,he was stitched all along but I have never have had a problem with his stitched look. We expected him to look that way after what happened to him in CP3 but people hate his stitched look because of Seed. Spanky,I bet that is why you hate his stitched look. I bet you had no problems with his stitched look when Bride first came out. Don gave us both looks in Curse to please both sides of the fans. You just couldn't accept the fact that even though he starts out clean in Curse,he is actually stitched all along and you won't accept anything but him being clean throughout the next movie. Just let it go,Spanky.

Dude, chill out. I've stated parts where I like stitched. And I actually dug Bride for what it was. No need to attack me because I have different tastes man, just disagree respectfully and state your opinion on why you like a certain aspect or not...

I apologize but the way you talk about his stitched look makes it seem that you don't like his stitched look because of Seed or something like that.

No, I don't like it purely on scariness or creepiness, it doesn't get it done for me. But also the look does make me think of Seed, which I liked as a movie overall, but not as a scary horror movie. My main motivation behind my opinions is the movie being scary / creepy for me.

I think generally it comes down to taste. I personally prefer his clean look because well... That is what I am used to as a fan. Of course I was there from the beginning and waiting for each sequel in real time, so even though technically the stitched look has been around longer... The clean look was where it started.
I am sure the same feeling would be had if Freddy had decided to change colors in his sweater and wear a different hat... but he didn't.
Jason's look changed with each film so all you can do is pick one and roll with it... I like his look in F13 part 7 the best. lol.
I don't want to say his stitches bothered me all that much in Curse, but it was as if they were going for too much shock I guess. I'll admit the latex reveal was cool for what it was... but it also added confusion and this is where I think fans get conflicted. Also it didn't help that these weren't the same stitch patterens that we've seen before. It was almost like Tiffany decided to refurbish him and gave up halfway through. Also it is safe to say that she applied the latex post ressurection. I want to believe that if she had done it prior that it would have become part of the anatomy of his face. lol.
So when the next film comes out... I would prefer that he have his clean look because I agree... it's creepier. Also coming back stitched to me is harder to explain then coming back clean. If he came back stistched that mean that either he still has his old doll parts... or someone ruined a new doll to make it look like that specifically.

No problem man, it's cool.
But yeah, Jason does change a lot, I mean he had a bag for a mask in Part 2.
Also the latex reveal has already been done now, so it'd be weirs of they do it again.
