Are we even going to be interested in film that dates back?
What I mean is that since we've heard that the next movie takes place within that 6 month time frame... is it reallt going to intice us because of too much time passing and the events of Nica feeling like old news.
Personally... I'd like to see a fresh story with maybe a cameo from an old character. That just my honest opinion because we heard nothing new and it's already going to be two years since Curse was released.

I think it will interesting, at least for me anyway. While I do agree that they shouldn't wait too long to do a sequel, I don't mind waiting a couple of years. If the movie is good, then the wait will be worth it. And even then, they can always do a flashback or explain the events of Curse if it does take a few years for it to come out.

I guess part of me wants to see a movie "after" the events of Curse.
I mean granted, if Chucky's end should be getting shot in the face by Andy... then okay... it's fitting.
I just think that if that is the end... we've already seen it making an "interquel" somewhat irrelevant. Or even worse... no movie at all. I mean they did give us a lot of nostalgia in Curse. Anything more might seem like overkill in another film so if they wanted to hang up their boots, they do have that option from this point.

Yeah, I won't mind either way because I am curious as to what happened in those 6 months, but I am also able to use some imagination to fill in that gap will plausible details.

I was just thinking that as long as Tiffany is alive Chucky always has a back up plan. Andy would have to kill her and his kids too to finally make it all end. I think that's how the franchise should end. Seeing the whole family massacred and Andy could get it on with Nica in a 20 minute love scene whilst the corpses of Chucky, Tiffany, Glen, and Glenda watch.

Pretty much, or some Benjamin Button stuff where Tiffany is some old lady and Chucky is still a doll

I never saw Benjamin Button but I can only Imagine.
BTW, Tiffany is an old lady already.

I just hope they dont drag the series just for the sake of "keeping it alive" though whatever they do like what they've done with so many great Horror icons...Jason Vorhees for example...

exactly lol. I mean, I would honestly rather have the series end on a good note than have a complete embarrassment of a film be the final note.

Yeah, I wouldn't want them to make way too many movies. I would have the series end at 8, though that's just me.
